Building low-power local connectivity at Ixana.
Bio
Bio
I’m the co-founder and CEO of Ixana. Previously I founded Waylo, which was acquired by eDreams. Earlier I worked at Intel and studied electrical and computer engineering at Purdue and IIT Kharagpur.
This page is the short factual version of my background.
Current
Company building
Waylo was a travel company built around machine-learning-driven pricing and distribution.
The company was acquired by eDreams in 2020.
- Team of 30 across engineering, marketing, and ops
- 90k+ hotel price prediction models deployed
- 20%+ month-over-month revenue growth with minimal external capital
- Profitable long-tail SEM engine across 2M+ keywords
- Multiple B2B contracts and millions in B2C revenue
Built a multi-channel emergency communication platform designed to complement 911 with reliability, redundancy, and rapid delivery.
Technical foundation
Worked on performance evaluation software for future information processing devices, with a focus on measurement, benchmarking, and system-level optimization.
Studied spin-coupled multi-magnet networks and neural-network-style implementations using magnetic device systems.
Studied electrical engineering and worked on early research spanning solid-state quantum logic and beyond-CMOS device concepts.
The writing here comes out of that mix of research, systems work, product, and company building.
Long-term view
I’m interested in work that expands what people and small teams can understand, build, and execute. That thread sits underneath what I pay attention to and what I write about here.
